VHI'S COMMUNICATIONS AND SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST PURSUES NEW OPPORTUNITY

Rendha Maharosa, who has been with Virginia Health Information (VHI) since 2019, is leaving the information organization for a new opportunity at ICF Next. Rendha will begin her new career opportunity in mid-September as a Social Media Associate for the global consulting firm. "Rendha has done a great job at increasing VHI's online presence and producing our Annual Reports," says Deborah K. Waite, VHI's Chief Operating Officer.

During her time at VHI, Rendha managed multiple social media platforms, developed content, cultivated relations with the media, and supported marketing efforts by producing product collateral. She also became a Board of Directors member for the Richmond chapter of the American Marketing Association and the Mid-Atlantic Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development.

"VHI allowed me to learn new skills while also refining ones I already had. It made me feel empowered as a newly graduated young professional to be managing the communications strategy of an entire organization. I especially enjoyed teaching fellow teammates and Board of Director members concepts from the social media world, like how to retweet on Twitter or how to share Facebook pages with their friends," says Rendha. "I learned so much about the health information realm that I probably would never get the opportunity to anywhere else. I highly recommend this position to someone who is passionate about healthcare and/or the impact of data."

We are excited that Rendhal has been presented with this opportunity and will be using her skills that she developed at VHI in a new capacity. We will miss her dearly and wish her luck on her new endeavor! To learn more about the open Communications and Social Media Specialist position, visit: https://vhi.org/about/job-Communications.asp
